ANIMAL Talks, Birds of Prey Experience. Face Painting and craft workshops are just some of the fun activities Fota Wildlife Park will be holding to celebrate Love Your Park this week.

The campaign which will run from Monday, May 30 to Monday, June 6, is being launched this year by the British and Irish Association of Zoos and Aquariums (BIAZA). Its aim is to encourage people to visit their local BIAZA zoos, aquariums and wildlife centres and not only have a fun day out, but also learn just how much they do for conservation, education and research.

Throughout the week there will be something for everyone at parks/zoo/aquarium from face painting and making toy animals to learning about the importance of zoos and conservation.additional info about what you are doing that week.

Head of Marketing at Fota Wildlife Park, Stephen Ryan said: “We have lots in store for a fun-filled Love Your Park week and we hope people will join us in celebrating the event.”

 

More than 70 zoos, aquariums and wildlife centres across the UK will also be taking part in the campaign.
