Youghal’s Medieval Festival

7th annual Medieval Festival which truly brings Youghal's history and heritage to life. A free family day out, this festival will feature medieval battle re-enactments, food fair, arts & crafts

The 4th annual ‘Youghal Queen of The Sea Festival 2013’, This free family festival will run from Friday 12th to Sunday 14th July 2013 is set to be the biggest and most exciting to date. Supporting ‘The Gathering’ in 2013, the festival will see ‘Queens’ with a connection to Youghal even through previous generations, enter the completion from all corners of the world, making this a truly international event. Other highlights of the festival include a ‘mardi gras’ street party, live open-air music, fireworks display, Food Festival, Trace your Ancestors workshop a fun dog show’ and the hilarious ‘wife carrying race’

Youghal Vintage Raleigh 2013

The Youghal Vintage Raleigh will be held in Farrells Summerfield. This year will be the 25th year Car Cruise show and 26th year Car show.

The 7th Emer Casey Memorial Road Race & Walk

Start: 19th May 2013 at 1.30pm End: 19th May 2013 at 5.00pm

The course will start at Pobalscoil Na Tríonóide and will take participants through the historic town of Youghal and finish at the Front Strand where buses will transport you back to the school. Refreshments and musical entertainment provided. Numerous spot prizes to the value of €600. Free t-shirt to all finishers!

Tommy Fleming Concert

Youghal Paddy Power Celebrity Donkey Derby

Youghal's Paddy Power Celebrity Donkey Derby

Some of Ireland’s top jump jockeys are getting ready to return to Youghal to go under starters orders as they get set to compete in the 2nd Annual ‘Paddy Power Celebrity Donkey Derby’ on Friday 22nd March 2013 at 7.00 p.m in the Main Street of Youghal, Co. Cork.

Local Youghal favourite, Davy Russell will line up in battle against fellow big names such as Paul Carberry, Paul Townend, Martin Ferris, Andrew McNamara and Davy Condon, Jane Mangan, Mark Enright, Patrick Mullins & Danny Mullins. The race will see the professional jockeys riding donkeys on the Main Street of the East Cork Town. The event is being held in aid of The Annual ‘Queen of The Sea’ Festival which takes place from 12th-14th July 2013.
